Flapping in the wind

High winds can happen at any time of the year, often at night, and the first you’ll know of them is looking out of your bedroom window to see that the wooden divider between your garden and next door is having a little lie down.

At this stage in your fence‘s life you’re going to have to bite the bullet and have a new one installed. This can be an opportunity to transform your garden, there is now a wide selection of ready made fence panels to choose from that wouldn’t look out of place at a 5* hotel, or you could elect for a hand built fence that will be the envy of your street.

Of course, this unplanned expense can be avoided. Unless you get hit by a hurricane most fences give an indication they are in distress and can be rejuvenated before take a rest in your flower bed. Signs to look out for include gentle rocking in a light breeze, a rotten bottom or the ability to wave to your neighbours through the fence rather than over it.

If your fence is looking a little tired, you're in Sidmouth or the East Devon area and are flapping in the wind then get in touch today.
